Solution
Yes, AECOsim Building Designer CONNECT Edition now includes the new Drawing Boundary tool that helps improve efficiency in the process of sheet layout creation.
Traditionally, sheet creation and layout has been a very manual and time consuming process. To help overcome this, the Drawing Boundary feature allows you to quickly and easily define the location of a drawing on a sheet using a predefined area within that sheet model, or even subdivided into several drawing boundaries.
Previously named the Place Drawing Title tool, the new Drawing Boundary feature includes the following settings and properties:
- Drawing Type - Sets the type of drawing boundary to be created.
- By 2 Points - Lets you create the drawing boundary by interactively defining a rectangular boundary with two data points.
- By Element - Lets you create a drawing boundary from an existing closed element.
- Annotation Display - Show or hide the annotation, which includes the bubble, fields, and the drawing line.
- Boundary Display - Show or hide the boundary.
