Problem

Custom Linestyles change scale when using Copy to Clipboard and Paste to Clipboard. Tested in MicroStation Connect where it occurs, but does not in v8i SS4. The setting that allows this to happen is when Line Style Scale under General = Annotation Scale in the Model Properties dialog and Annotation Scale is set to a scale other than Full Size Scale. Once these settings are changed in the model properties, place the custom line, Copy to Clipboard and then Paste From Clipboard.  See image in the SR Attachments for full details.
Not sure why this changed, but user feels it is incorrect and they have disabled Clipboard because of it, but prefer to use it.

Solution

This is NOT a recommended workflow. Custom Linestyles change scale when using Copy to Clipboard and Paste to Clipboard.  It is suggested that the user reference the file and use the MicroStation delivered Copy command instead.  When copying to the clipboard there are certain attributes and formatting that can be lost.  This is a limitation of the Windows Clip Board.
