Background

While trying to install AECOsim CONNECT Edition, the installation is failing with error code 0x80070642. User cancelled Installation. The log file has many errors referencing SPCServer.

Steps to Accomplish

This is a problem due to a 'Hash Mismatch'. You can resolve this by following the steps below.

You have to delete any existing 'SPCServerSetup.msi'. You can find the same in 'C:\BentleyDownloads\...' path.

You can then restart the installation process and it will be completed successfully. OR, you can manually download an install the '.msi' files - after that the installation will be completed.
