Background

While trying to install AECOsim CONNECT Edition, the installation is failing with error code 0x80070643. Installation is not completed.

Steps to Accomplish

You can resolve this issue by following the steps below.

1. Go to Settings. Then go to Windows Update. Update your Windows by clicking on check for Check for update button. Please tick the check-box for online checking also.
2. Go to Microsoft website and download and install '.NET 4.5.2'. Please select the appropriate version ( please check your operating system, and check windows architecture i.e. 32-bit or 64-bit machine ).
3. Once installation is complete, please restart your machine.

You can then restart the installation process and it will be completed successfully.
