ProjectWise Asset Tagging was first introduced in Bentley Facilities Planner Ss4 Update 1. It provides feature set that can be used to tag and aggregate information on BIM models together with ProjectWise. This is a subset of Bentley Facilities and does not contain area update, area calculations, overlape rules, automatic linking, etc. functionality. The discipline for ProjectWise Asset Tagging is quite often used within Civil and Plant workflows.
With ProjectWise Asset Tagging CONNECT Edition the same features are delivered for CONNECT Edition design applications.
NOTE. ProjectWise Asset Tagging uses different licensing with Bentley Facilities. Either BPS - ProjectWise Asset Tagging or Bentley Facilities Planner license is consumed on usage. These licenses are exclusive.
