Level in a reference file will not turn off using the Level Display tool

Problem

A level in a reference file will not turn off using the Level Display tool

Solution

The Level name was Defpoints and that level (specific to AutoCAD) does not act like other levels in AECOsim Building Designer.  Rename the level (in the original file) to xDefpoints and you should be able to turn it off using Level Display.
