Problem

I have a robust  but older system. When I open any file, lines display everywhere all over my drawing (zingers). The problem first occurred when I was still using Windows 7 but has persisted into Windows 10. I completely uninstalled and reinstalled the program and upgraded to 32 GB of memory, but it didn't resolve the issue.

Solution

1. Open the Workspace Configuration dialog and create a new variable QV_D3DVERSION.
2. Set the new value to 9.
3. Save the change.
4. Exit and re-enter the file.

The file should display correctly.

1. If the file still does not display correctly, try setting the value of the variable QV_D3DVERSION to 11
2. Save the changes
3. Exit and re-enter the file.
