I would like to place eccentric reducers while doing auto-routing of pipes.
This can be done. There is a process by which you have to add eccentric reducers in your catalog so that they are available during auto-routing of pipes. This is a one-time workflow after which the eccentric transitions would be available for all projects using this catalog. this process has the following steps:Step 1. Consult the file <Dataset Folder>\Dialog\Excel\Fitting\Workbook.xls. you would be able to refer to the dimensions that are used in the catalogs for the purpose of modeling a transition. Please watch the following video for details on this: Video_Step1
Step 2. Consult Add a new transition in your catalog, or edit the ones already available and edit the Rise and Run value as per requirement. Save the file. Please refer the following video for more details on this step: Video_Step2
Step 3. If there are no columns for rise and run available in the catalog, add columns for them and then add code lines in the corresponding XML file of the catalog for the columns added. Please watch the following video for the details on this step: Video_Step3Please note, this process needs to have your piping catalog defined clearly to have it work seamlessly in your project. Please note that this would also let you add eccentric transitions while doing auto-routing of pipes as well.
