Whenever I place custom DataGroup wall items, why does the width and height of wall default to "0" ?

Product(s): OpenBuildings Designer (and AECOsim Building Designer)
      Version(s): CONNECT Edition and V8i
      Environment: N/A
      Area: DataGroup System
      Subarea: DataGroup Catalog Editor

    Problem Description

Whenever I place custom DataGroup wall items, why does the width and height of wall default to "0" ?

    Steps to Resolve

    1. Check the DataGroup Validation to validate the DataGroup.
    2. Make sure the Wall_Application definition is attached and width and height of each item is defined.
    3. Finally, the most important step to check that causes height and width to be "0" is to check if the units command line is missing from the xml file or not. Exp: <Units master="mm" sub="mm"></Units>
