    How to connect two vertically placed ducts

    Problem Description

     

    Proper connection is not occurring while joining two vertically placed ducts with place ducts tool.

    V8i:


    CONNECT:

     

    Solution

    In V8i:

    1. You have to first measure the center to center distance between two ducts. By placing smart line you can get the distance from properties.

    2. Select Join duct, set the tolerance value according to the center to center distance. Always set it greater or equal to that center to center distance.

     In CONNECT:

    1. You have to first measure the center to center distance between two ducts. By placing smart line you can get the distance from properties.

    2. Select Connect Ducts/Pipes, set the tolerance value according to the center to center distance. Always set it greater or equal to that center to center distance.
