    Problem

What is the difference between Match Element Attributes, Match Form Properties, Match Form Attributes ?

    Solution

    1. Match Element Attributes

The Match Element Attributes tool is present in the Ribbon bar. This tool matches the element attributes such as Level, Color, Style, Weight and Transparency.

    2. Match Form Properties

This is present in the Ribbon bar and has three options,

Top: The form being changed is extended so that the top matches the top shape of the selected form, this setting cannot be applied to Slab forms.

Thickness: The form being changed takes the thickness or width of the selected form. The thickness setting can be applied to linear and line string forms

(Extrusion) Direction: The form being changed takes the height and direction of the selected form. The extrusion direction setting cannot be applied to Slab forms.

    3. Match Form Attributes

This tool changes the attributes of one form to match another. This is the tool we use to match the part of one form with another form. This is not present in the ribbon bar.
A way to access the tool is by using the Key-in "TFMATCH ATTRIBUTES".
To make this an icon in the Ribbon bar please follow this How to create a new tool icon in the Ribbon Bar for any Key-in
