How to create 2D elements array with variable ?

Solution

The Array Feature tool is different to the Construct Array tool and only works with 3D parametric solids (won't work with ordinary SmartSolids).

But there are a couple of possibilities to achieve this:

Example 1 :

This can be achieved by creating very thin 3D Parametric Solids

Example 2:

A loft surface can also be parametric and is valid for a parametric array. Variables can be assigned to the two lines and their distance.
