Editing DataGroup List Values For Spaces

      Product(s): AECOsim Building Designer
      Version(s): V8i, CONNECT Edition
      Environment: N/A
      Area:

    DataGroup System

      Subarea: DataGroup Catalog Editor

    Problem Description

What file can I edit to set the values for Space Finish Properties?  In the DataGroup Catalog Editor for Architectural Space Type, if you right click in the column for Value of a Finish property, you get a pulldown list of values.  By default the delivered values are PT-1, PT-2, PT-3 and WC-1.  How can you add additional values to this list?  What is the file location and name of it that stores these values?

    Steps to resolve

    EnumLookups_Architectural.xml in the location:

    C:\ProgramData\Bentley\AECOsimBuildingDesigner V8i Ss6\WorkSpace\BuildingDatasets\Dataset_US\datagroupsystem\ or

C:\ProgramData\Bentley\AECOsim CONNECT Edition\Configuration\Datasets\Dataset_US\DataGroupSystem\ holds all the values for the DataGroup Catalog Spaces or other disciplines.  If you edit the file in Notepad, then save it, those values should be available when you edit the Catalog property.
