There are a few issues after AECOsim Building Designer is updated to Update 4.
There can be some issues when AECOsim Building Designer is updated to Update 4. Particularly, if you have some version of the CONNECT Edition already installed in your machine.
Most of the issues should go away after you do a restart of the machine after updating the application. If some issues still persist, please do a complete uninstall of the older version and install the newer version from scratch. This does not necessarily mean all the user data would have to wiped off. However, in some cases, renaming the Prefs folder (usually available under C:\Users\<user name>\AppData\Local\Bentley\AECOsimBuildingDesigner\10.0.0\) to some other name might help fix the issues. The recommended workflow would be:
1. Restart the machine. If this does not resolve the issue, follow the next step.
2. Rename Prefs folder to something different. If this does not resolve the issue, follow the next step.
3. Perform a complete uninstall of the application and install from scratch. The user data can be kept as is.
