    Floor Management - V8i BB_Floormaster.dgnlib Becomes Corrupt After Adding It To CONNECT Edition

      Product(s): AECOsim Building Designer
      Version(s): CONNECT Edition, V8i
      Area: Floor Management
      Subarea: N/A

    Problem

    A V8i BB_Floormaster.dgnlib becomes corrupt after adding it to the CONNECT Edition folder. After it is opened, at first it appears to have all the correct floors and values, but then becomes corrupt with no values for floors.

    Solutions

    As well as any model files that contain building elements, any V8i BB_Floormaster.dgnlib that is reused in CONNECT Edition must be upgraded using the OpenBuildings Designer Schema Upgrade Utility.

    Additionally in some cases where ProjectWise is involved the following stes may also be relevant:

    In the AECOsim_Site.cfg file called from a CSB in ProjectWise, adding the following lines from the delivered file “structuralmodelingcomponents.cfg” solved the issue. Something in the user's corporate workspace requires AECOsim to load MDL's in a certain order.

                                    SMC_ASSEMBLIES=$(SMC_ROOT)Assemblies/

                                    MS_MDLAPPS > $(SMC_ASSEMBLIES)

                                    MS_LIBRARY_PATH > $(SMC_ASSEMBLIES)cmf/

                                    MS_ADDINPATH > $(SMC_ASSEMBLIES)

                                    MS_ADDINPATH > $(SMC_ASSEMBLIES)cmf/

                                    EC_EXTENSION_ASSEMBLIES > $(SMC_ASSEMBLIES)ECFramework\extensions\Bentley.FsrECPlugin.dll

                                    MS_ADDIN_DEPENDENCYPATH > $(SMC_ASSEMBLIES)

                                    MS_ADDIN_DEPENDENCYPATH > $(SMC_ASSEMBLIES)Ism/

                                    MS_ADDIN_DEPENDENCYPATH > $(SMC_ASSEMBLIES)CmF/
