    Known Issues

The following are known issues with Structural Modeler, PowerStructural Modeler and Structural DocumentationCenter.

    RAM Structural System

    • For the most complete integration with RAM Structural System, RSS version 14.02.02 should be installed on the same machine as your Structural product. When RAM Structural System is not installed, certain features may not be available or may have limited functionality: These include:
      • The RAM 3D Viewer may not open and display RSS models properly.
      • Dialog boxes with blank error messages may be displayed during import and export. In some cases, program crashes may be experienced.
      • Some  Wall and Slab elements (with particular types of openings) and some Braces may not import properly.
      • The Verify tool in the Analysis Import dialog box may not add all Unknown Sections properly to the Structural section file.
    • Slabs assigned using "Whole Floor" assignment mode are not imported. Please refer to this Technical Note
Please note that these issues are being actively investigated and are expected to be resolved in a forthcoming maintenance release.
