Problem:

How to modify Properties on Existing Windows that are in References?

Solution:

The modification of building elements which are in references can be done in two ways. You can modify the element properties by activating the associate reference, in which the elements are attached. After activating the reference, the Modify option such as “Modify Door”, “Modify Window” etc. will be available. Thereafter you can customize the element.

In another way you can do this by Bi-Directional Operation. Bi-Directional Operation is nothing but the exchange of data between schedule and Excel file. You can update a project entirely from the Excel file which accumulate all the data of that project. By editing any definite or multiple element you can reflect the change instantly in the project.
