    To Create a Catalog Item With New Symbology

    To create a catalog item with new symbology

    1. Follow steps 1 through 5 in the previous procedure, To create a catalog item based on an existing symbology.
    2. When the New Symbology screen opens, turn on 'No, I want to create a new symbology entry', then click Next.


    3. When the Select Cell Library screen opens, navigate to and select a cell library, then click Next.


    4. When the Select Cell screen opens, select a cell and click Next.


    5. When the Enter Symbology Properties screen opens, type a name for the new symbology, change any of the cell's existing symbology, then click Next.


      The Set Display Filter screen displays again. Filters that have been assigned a symbology now have a red check mark beside them.



    6. Click Finish.
      An information dialog box opens asking you to confirm the creation of the catalog item.


    7. Click OK.
      The item is added to the catalog, and the Catalog Wizard returns to its opening screen (Select Asset Class).

    8. Do one of the following:
      Select a class to create another catalog item.
      or
      Click Cancel to end the wizard.
