To Move One or More Employees Graphically, Using the Move Wizard
Use the Browse window (Planner > Browse) to locate the room containing the employee(s) you want to move.
If the employee(s) in the room are not already displayed, use Planner > Display > Asset Display to display all employees within the view window.
Now use the Element Selection tool or the Place Fence tool to select the employee(s) you want to move.
Open the Commands Class List dialog box (Planner > Tools >Class List), expand Assets > Employee, select Move Wizard, then click Execute.
The Move Wizard opens and displays the Select Move Type page. The Graphical Move option is on by default, and the method used to select the employees in the view window is displayed in the Object selection dropdown list box.
Click Next.
The Select Objects page opens. This groups the objects linked to the employee either by class or dependency.
Click the + icon to open the list and select or deselect items tobe moved.
Objects to be moved display a red check mark, those which remain do not. The object's highlight in MicroStation is dropped when it is deselected and restored if reselected. Deselecting an object from a dependency or class causes its red check mark to change to yellow.
When the selection is complete, click Next.
If the objects being moved have objects linked to them, the Drop Links page displays.
Deselect those objects whose links you wish to drop, by clicking on the linked object.
Clicking a linked object toggles the dropping and maintaining of links. Links which remain display a link icon, those which are dropped display a red delete icon.
Click Finish.
The prompt, Move assets > Select origin, displays in MicroStation's Status bar.
In the view window, enter a data point to indicate the starting point of the move, then another to indicate the destination of the move.
The prompt, Move assets > Select angle or reset to skip the angle, displays in MicroStation's Status bar.
Place a data point to rotate the asset, or reset to complete the move.
The Move Wizard closes, and the move is completed.
Note:
If Angle Lock is on (Settings > Design File, Active Angle category), this display rotates through the Angle Lock angle around the last data point. If Angle Lock is not on, moving the cursor on the screen rotates this display. If Axis Lock is on(Settings > Design File, Axis category), this display rotates through multiples of the axis lock increment angle.
