View settings can be saved so that the desired views will remain the next time a project is opened.
When tracing your rooms you may find it easiest to use a top-down view of your plan.
To do so, left press on the Rotate view option (ie left click and continue to hold the mouse button). The dropdowns will appear where you can select Top.
Views can be arranged further with the View toggles at the bottom of the screen, and by dragging and re-shaping the view windows.
The View tab can be used to arrange views automatically, to Tile Arrange or Cascade the open view windows.
To save these settings, click on the Save Settings icon at the very top of the screen.
