Overview

OpenBuildings Energy Simulator allows all formats of weather data files to be imported, including:

• EnergyPlus -  EPW
• CIBSE - TMY and TRY
• DSY
• TRY
• ACAD - WYE and DAT

Method

To do so, go to Weather Data.

• In the top left, select Import:

• Simply browse to the file required, and select Open. Note that all of the following formats are compatible:

• This will import the weather data and the properties for the chosen file will be displayed:

• You can then specify this in your project in Site Properties:
