    How to calculate Daylight Factors

    Overview

    Daylight Factors can be modeled using the Daylight simulation.

    Method

    Go to the Calculations tab and select Daylight. Select the relevant room(s).

    Then, specify the simulation Name, Time and Date, and Calculation mode and click on Start: The horizontal and vertical spacings will define the number of unit rectangular divisions you will have for calculation. 

    Once the simulation is complete, clicking on the Point Results tab will show the Daylight factor figures throughout your room(s).
