Users will need to complete project tasks to demonstrate their skills and abilities within a provided building project. Users will create a mechanical building model of a small commercial building using modeling tools for air handling units, ductwork, duct fittings, air terminals, and connections. In addition, they will generate drawing views and from the BIM model.

The following is a list of skills required to complete the required project tasks:

    Building Tools

    • Placing equipment
    • Placing main ductwork
    • Placing duct branches
    • Placing grilles and diffusers
    • Placing device hook-ups

    Referencing

    • Attaching references
    • Creating a federated building model

    Drawing composition
