    Overview

A Conceptual model can be created in OpenBuildings Energy Simulator upon creating a new project. Conceptual modelling allows for is a robust method of entering your building data such as the basic building geometry, construction types, and room properties, from which a model is automatically generated based on your inputs.

This model can then be used for preliminary calculations and analysis, early on in the design stage, to analyse important decisions such as site location, building geometry and orientation.
