    Hevacomp Import - “OpenBuildings Designer has detected a problem"

    Overview

    When importing a Hevacomp Design Database project into OpenBuildings Energy Simulator the below error is displayed:

    Method

    This error will occur due to saving the DGN model outside of the Workset for the project.

    The Worksets is, in effect, the project folder so the DGN must be saved within it.

     

    To resolve, reopen OpenBuildings Energy Simulator, then, as in image below:

    1. Create your new Workset.
    2. Click on New File.
    3. Leaving the location as is, just enter a name and click Save.
