When importing a Hevacomp Design Database project into OpenBuildings Energy Simulator the below error is displayed:
System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not sent to an instance of an object
This error is due to room type spelling discrepancy between Hevacomp and OpenBuildings, so the import is unable to find the equivalent in OpenBuildings.
It has been addressed by development and is resolved in the current version.
Alternatively if you require a workaround:
Open the Hevacomp project and change the "Circulation(private)" rooms to the nearest equivalent, e.g. Circulation (public):
The project should then import with no issues.
