Problem

I've tried to delete a space but for some reason the command will not complete.

Solution

It's possible that the space record may still be connected to a shape that it simply cannot find. If so, the following steps should help:

1. Create a new temporary shape.
2. Attach the shape to the problem space, making sure to uncheck the Allow Multiple Shapes option; this should drop the link to any and all other shapes and maintain the new link since multiple shapes are not allowed.
3. At this point you should be able to delete the space since it is now associated with a single visible shape.
