    Opening a Received Project

    Overview

    This article explains how to place received project files within a Workset, so it can be opened in OpenBuildings Energy Simulator.

    Method

    1. Create a new Workset:




    2. Browse to the Worksets folder:


    3. Within the Worksets you can find the Designs, Standards and Output folders for the project. Replace these with the new ones received.



    4. Navigate to the Designs folder and open the DGN.







    5. Finally ensure to select your new Workset on the resulting menu:

    The new project will now be opened in the software.
