Overview

This article details how to include flat/false/suspended ceilings in rooms that are below a roof.

Method

False ceilings can be created simply in the Roof Setup menu. 

A suggested workflow to accomplish this is:

1. When tracing your room(s), ensure that you do not enter any plenum spaces- reasons for this are detailed here.
   
   
2.  After tracing your roof, proceed to the Roof setup menu.
   
   
3. Select the roof in question, the floor it is over, and enter details of the false ceiling, as below:
   
   

Clicking OK will then incorporate the roof and false ceiling over the relevant rooms.
