As part of continuing enhancements to enable control and filtering of DGNLIB content, as mentioned in CONNECT Edition - DGNLIBs, the configuration variable MS_DGNLIBLIST_ELEMENTTEMPLATES was added in OpenBuildings Designer Update 8. The effect of this is to allow only Element Templates contained in DGNLIBs in the locations defined by this variable to be read. This is intended to prevent cross-contamination of DGNLIBs with content from other libraries and thus unwanted and confusing duplication of resources.
As it is a new variable it has been delivered undefined, normally this results in relevant content being read from any DGNLIB in a location defined by MS_DGNLIBLIST, however a defect has been found where the undefined state of MS_DGNLIBLIST_ELEMENTTEMPLATES prevents the Grid Systems settings contained in GridTemplate.dgnlib from being found.
This can be fixed, pending resolution of the defect in a subsequent version, by adding the follwoing configuration statement in an appropriate CFG file:
MS_DGNLIBLIST_ELEMENTTEMPLATES > $(BB_GRID_TEMPLATE_DGNLIB)
Adding it to the WorkSpace CFG; Building_Examples.cfg, is one option.
If you have a Custom Configuration, the Standards.cfg in that Custom Configuration would be the most appropriate location.
