Overview

This article outlines how to place rooflights in an Energy Simulator model.

Method

To add roof lights to a roof section:

1. Go to the Roof menu as below, then to Design Roof option. Once your roof sections have been traced, you can use the “ Add Rooflight” tool to introduce Roof lights:

                                                           

2. Please note that if you find it difficult to see your roof plan it is recommended to alter your view window's active Display Style, for example changing it to Transparent:

                                                                    

3. Then, simply trace the rooflights by left-clicking at each corner of the rooflight location.  Right-click to complete.
