Overview

Daylight contours can be helpful in visualizing the effect of daylight factors in a room or in an energy model.

Method

To setup daylight contours you would first require to calculate Daylight Factors as described in the article here.  After this, Go to Results tab and select Show these contours as below:

Then, go to Contours tab and select the room and simulation with which you want to setup contours. Look at the right side of the tab which shows a preview of the contour and below you will have a setting option allowing you to create you own contour scale by providing colour and value according to your preference. If you do not select auto scale and create a new scale by putting values manually into the scale and click apply, it will create a new contour based on the new values. If you opt for Auto scale option, the software will disregard the manual scale that you have set up and create a contour according to the daylight factors.
