    IFC4 Self-certification

      Product(s): OpenBuildings Designer
      Version(s): CONNECT Edition
      Area: IFC

IFC4 has been accepted as ISO 16739 by the International Standardization Organization. The main objective of the IFC Reference View is the widest possible proliferation of IFC BIM data across a large range of software application types supporting different communication and collaboration workflows. Currently, IFC4 certification is based on the IFC4 Reference View 1.2 and includes architectural, structural, and building services (aka MEP) export exchanges.

The Building products team at Bentley Systems Inc. has successfully completed self-certification for the IFC4RV – Architectural module in our OpenBuildings Designer Update 8 release.

Below are links to the complete IFC4RV self-certification report for the OpenBuildings Designer Architectural module along with the IFC files generated during the self-certification process.
