      Product: OpenBuildings Designer
      Version: CONNECT Edition
      Area: Modeling
    SubArea Modifications

    The Situation

Do you need to move objects in your model and make sure they are aligned with other objects in the model?

    Solution

Extended "Solution" can be placed here.

    1. Select or fence the elements to align.
    2. Select the Align Elements by Edge tool from the Common Tools group on the Building Design ribbon.
    3. Select the base element to which to align the selected elements. The selected elements are aligned to the edge of the base element.
    4. Enter a data point to accept the alignment to the base element.
    5. Reset to complete the alignment.
