This article shows what to do should you have issues with the units or scale of your model.
Issues such as this generally occur when the units of your Workset (guidance on Worksets can be found here) does not appear to be proportionate with the working units of your background drawing (the .dxf or .dwg file you utilize for tracing rooms or creating roofs in the model).
For example, your model or project is subjected to be executed in millimeters, you would require to keep or convert your background drawing (subjected to import) in the same unit; in millimeters.
To check the units of your background drawing:
If scaling issues persist, then your drawing may be saved as a block. In this case you should explode the elements, save, and try to import into Energy Simulator once more.
Please note : we have referred to MicroStation as CAD software for executing the drawing file setting functions, you might refer to your program, the procedure remains the same.
Once imported, if you wish to change you background drawing, please refer to the WIKI article here for guidance.
