Problem OpenBuildings Designer CONNECT Edition does not start when initiating the OpenBuildings Designer, the splash screen (as shown) briefly appears for a few seconds and then quickly disappears:
Upon further investigation, the Application Event log (Event Viewer>Windows Logs>Application) displays text similar to the following:

Steps to Accomplish
This appears to be caused by the antivirus software SentinelOne blocking the program.
To remedy the issue, try the following: Option 1 > Add the following files/folders to the SentinelOne exclusions:
Option 2 > Launch the program from the executable file (OpenBuildingsDesigner.exe) from this location (C:\Program Files\Bentley\OpenBuildings CONNECT Edition\OpenBuildingsDesigner) and run as administrator:
Option 3 > Disable SentinelOne antivirus and then try launching OpenBuildingsDesigner (check the SentinelOne website given below).
Option 4 > If at all possible, try temporarily uninstalling the antivirus program and running OpenBuildingsDesigner.
