How to place an electrical component at a specific floor height

      Product(s): OpenBuildings Designer
      Version(s): CONNECT Edition
      Area: Electrical Annotation and Design
      Subarea: Drawing Setup

    Problem

Not able to place an electrical component at a specific floor height. When I create a sheet file for a certain floor all electrical symbols are shown on the same level from all the elevations. How do I get it to show only for the floor for which I have created the plan?

    Steps to Accomplish

Below is the workflow that needs to be followed in order to place an electrical component at a specific floor height.

1> Register the .dgn file or From the backstage choose Settings > Buildings > Electrical Setup > File Setup

2> From the 3D tab add the desired elevation to the Floor Level field.

    3> Place an electrical symbol.

4>  The electrical symbol is now placed as per the Floor Level height defined in the Drawing Setup dialog.
