How to create an arch top door in OpenBuildings Designer in a simpler manner?
Steps to Accomplish
Please follow the below steps through which you can create an arch top door in simpler manner.
- At first, after opening a fresh DGN file in OpenBuildings Designer from backstage under Parametric Content select the Parametric Frame Builder tool and open it.
2. After it opens at first you will have to select the Add Frame option from the list and choose its required frame. Then at every step you will have to select Build Command first followed by Update to add that in the preview section of the Frame Builder tool.
3. Then you will have to go to Settings from that and insert the Width and Height of the door as per your requirement and hit on Update.
4. Then you will have to select the Divide command from the list and insert the Distance that your door will be divided and its orientation (in this case the door was divided from the left side with the required distance to create an unequal leaf).
5. After that you will have to select Add Leaf option from the list. Then you will have to select the Swing type from the list and its relevant ID number followed by Build Command and Update.
6. Then you will have to select the Set Part option from the list and provide the Part and Family of the door followed by Build Command and Update.
7. Then finally using the Place tool from the Frame Builder you can observe that the newly created door is being placed.
Moreover, you can save that .bxf file in your desired location.
