Problem Description

When we place a door in free space via Parametric Frame Builder tool we can see the complete frame of the door, but when placed via Place Door tool we cannot see the complete frame. 

 

Solution

In order to resolve this via the Place Door tool, in the list of properties under Door Parameters uncheck the Dimension | Frame Depth Match Wall box and then place the door again. After placing the door, you will see the complete frame of the door.

Note: If we place the same door in a wall instead of free space, the Dimension | Frame Depth Match Wall box can be checked on to match the wall thickness.
