Problem

While opening OBD sometimes this error message was shown in Message Center. The cause of the error message is due to some malfunction occurring in the ‘Settings_Frames.xml’ files.

Solution

First, go to the ‘Setting_Frames.xml’ which is located in the Setting folder (lies in this path),

C:\ProgramData\Bentley\OpenBuildings CONNECT Edition\Configuration\Datasets\Dataset_NM\Setting (we have did it for NM DataSet for example)

Now open the XML through Notepad ++. The remove the start tag,

<Frame name=”.

Then save the file.

After that when you will again open OBD you will find that the error message has gone.
