Background In the Electrical discipline, you can create a variety of different Raceways, both in 2D and 3D representations, including hangers. It is also possible to route cables through the different raceway types available and then to create reports that contain information like cable lists and the cable support system itself allowing for dimensioning.
Raceway accessories in the cable support system include a lineup of raceway hangers for lighting fixtures and raceway envelopes for space allocation and interference detection. Steps to Accomplish
Below is the workflow that needs to be followed in order to insert Raceways into a 3D Design Model
1> Register the .dgn file or From the backstage choose Settings > Buildings > Electrical Setup > File Setup
2> In an electrically loaded *.dgn file, within the Electrical Discipline from the Raceway section in the Ribbon bar click on Place Raceway.
3> The Raceway dialog box comes up. Under the System, select Raceway System and set the part and dimension to complete Raceway settings. Check Variable to allow creating Raceway component with flexible, user-defined sizes. Raceway length is defined by clicking the end data point.
4> Click on Insert, and then from Place Part / Option select the required placement position and the angle.
5> Click on the Drawing/ Modelling area, the Cable Ladder will get placed.
In the same process, we can add bent to it.
