Overview

This article shows how to change the Heat Flow associated to the partitions in your building energy model.

Method

To change the Heat Flow Type, or disregard internal heat transfer, open the properties section of a partition wall. 

If the heatflow type is selected as Adjacent room, that defines the wall would allow heat to flow through to the adjacent rooms. (To learn more about adjacency, refer to the wiki article here).

Should you wish, you can manually overwrite this via various options as below:

In order to disregard or ignore internal heat transfer, select None from the above dropdown list.
