    Problem

How to turn off ECS Axes to appear in Structural Modelling?

    Solution

The Entity Coordinate System (ECS) Axes of the structural elements can be turned on or off as per the requirement. In this wiki we would understand how to turn them off. There are 2 ways to do the work.

    Option 1:

By Turning them off permanently for future structural element placement. To do that we need to navigate to the Structural Settings and then under the shape dialog there is a toggle for ECS Axes. Uncheck that option and then save the settings. Now next time onwards you would not be seeing that construction lines(ECS Axes) while placing structural members

    Option 2:

For the structural members that are already placed if they still show the ECS Axes then right click on the Structural member and then select the PS properties dialog. In there go inside the Layout dialog and there uncheck the ECS Axes. After that it would be turned off from the already placed structural member.
