How to make the widget moveable after applying structural rules in OpenBuildings Designer update 8?
Steps to Accomplish
Please follow the below steps through which you can quickly move the widget after applying structural rules.
- At first, place a beam, create section view and move to the drawing model.
- Then you will have to apply structural rule to the beam which consists of widget and apply it.
3. After that open the Configuration Variables tool and search for “BB_CREATE_STRUCTURAL_WIDGET_ANNOTATIONS” variable name.
4. Then edit the config variable value to “1” and hit on “OK”.
5. After that you will see that the value has been changed to “1”. Apply those changes in there and exit OpenBuildings Designer.
6. After restarting OpenBuildings Designer we can finally see that the widget on the Beam/Column is easily moveable.
