Changing a Duct Fitting's Rise and Run value based on the Diameter

Problem Description

How can I change the Rise and Run value of round Duct Fitting with respect to the Diameter value?

 

Solution

Please follow the below steps through which you can change a round Duct Fitting's Rise and Run value with respect to the Diameter value.

  1. First, in our example from the Round Fitting tool we will select Duct Fitting | Round-Transition | Centric Reducer.

  2. Next, select the Offset Options property, click on the dropdown and select Offset Options.

 

        3. After the Offset Options dialog box opens change the General(1) option to “Symmetric”, click Apply and then Done to accept those changes.

 

        4. After, when you change the value of the Diameter you can see that the Rise and Run value is automatically changing along with it.
