Problem Description

Everything in the ribbon bar suddenly disappeared and I'm getting the error message “ERROR: No Workflow definitions are available” as shown in this image:

 

Solution

If the ribbon bar is empty and you're getting the message “ERROR: No Workflow definitions are available” navigate to this location: “C:\Users\User_Name\AppData\Local\Bentley\OpenBuildingsDesigner”, rename your “Prefs” folder, then restart OpenBuildings Designer.

 

After restarting OpenBuildings Designer you should see that everything in the ribbon bar is now displayed properly and there are no errors.
