    Add Flange to the Plate

      Product(s): OpenBuildings Designer
      Version(s): CONNECT Edition Update 9
      Area: Structural Design
      Subarea: Add Flange

    Problem description

How to Add Flange to the plate

    Solution

Below is the workflow that needs to be followed in order to add Flange to the plate.

    1. Place the Plate in the model from Building Design > Structural > Structural Elements > Plate
    2. Now add the flange from Building Design > Structural > Structural Elements > Base Plate > Add Flange

    3. We can choose the options from the placement tab for flange in which different Tool Mode, Flange Length, Front Edge Distance, Back Edge Distance, Bend Radius, Radius to Inner Edge, and Bend Angle are defined.

Also, please see the below-attached video showing the same workflow for better reference.
