Problem

For some projects you may have created customized toolbars. But if the local \prefs folder is deleted or if OpenBuildings Designer is reinstalled, the custom toolbars are missing.

Steps to Accomplish

To restore these customizations you will first need to store certain files from the existing \prefs folder in an alternate location for backup. The \prefs folder is by default located at C:\Users\User.Name\AppData\Local\Bentley\OpenBuildingsDesigner\10.0.0\prefs and the required files are shown in the image below.

Once you've backed up these files, you can copy them to a recreated \prefs folder to restore your custom tools.
