Extra lines are coming in the DWG file for Railing. How to resolve it?

      Product(s): OpenBuildings Designer
      Version(s): CONNECT Edition
      Environment:  N/A
      Area:  Import/Export
      Subarea:  DWG

    Problem

When a DGN which have some railing in it, is converted to DWG format some extra lines have come.

This thing happens because of some settings which can be modified while converting a DGN file to DWG.

    Solution

This thing happens because of some settings which can be modified while converting a DGN file to DWG.

For this, you need to choose File> Save As to save the file in DWG format. There you have to choose ‘DWG’ as ‘Save as type’ and then you need to click on the ‘Option’ tab,

After clicking on the Options tab you will get a pop-up called ‘Save as DWG/DXF Options’. Under which you will have an option called ‘Save Application Data’ under ‘Advanced’ > ‘Application Data’.

Then click on ‘OK’ and Ultimately click on ‘Save’ in the ‘Save As’ dialog box. You can now find the extra line which has come from the railing has gone.
