I wasn't prompted to sign in to CONNECTION Client this morning like I usually am, so I signed out and back in a few times just to be sure. However, after insuring that am I signed in, launching OpenBuildings Designer results in a large grey window that just hangs, forcing me to use Task Manager to close it. Everything was working normally yesterday so something must have changed. I've already tried renaming my prefs folder and was going to try a Change/Repair of OpenBuildings Designer from Windows Control Panel > Programs & Features, but for some reason even that is hanging.
It was discovered that there were eight instances of "Bentley.Licensing.Service for Windows" running simultaneously in Task Manager, and one of those was using 99% of the CPU. So essentially OpenBuildings Designer was hanging because there were no resources available. Once End Task was used and only a single instance of "Bentley.Licensing.Service for Windows" running, OpenBuildings Designer launched as expected.
